Mixture Method .(Th (Thanks Pascal:-) Our good friend, Pascal, came up with an approach to doing the salt/C each day that involves mixing both the salt and Vitamin C together in a container with pure - an entire day's supply - and then doing it throughout the day. We are suspecting there may be a chemical reaction as well with this method. It is known sodium chloride changes slightly when mixed into water. The addition of the ascorbic acid (C) may create a further change, reaction (synergy?) and are asking any chemists out there to provide any feedback they may have on this subject. Below is the outline of the "Mixture Method" and experiential notes, with gratitude to Pascal.
Mixture Method "1. I fill one reg. glass
(250-300 ml - or 8-10 oz) with warm water (not hot) "Maybe a special little
drinking bottle would be even better. One could take it around and even
have some marks on the bottle that measure the % or tell the daytime when to
arrive at a certain mark.
Post Of 2/6/05 "Hi Saltgang, "I'm amazed !!
After 2-3 years of ridding lyme (obviously, due to all the herxes) with
different pieces of equipment and gaining my life back slowly but surely over
the last 20 months, the last ten days, being on the salt and C were much like a
rapid time trip through a number of symptoms and reactions from the hole period
of being sick with lyme from summer 2002 till now. And: (!) on day eleven
of the protocol I woke up just fine. I mean perfectly fine and strong and well
and symptom-free and happy !!!!! "is this it....? "Let me tell you a little
how this went for me... "I have to start with the
question, if my way of taking the Salt and the vit C is (officially) correct and
if I can forward it like that to my group. (it seems to work) I
mix 14-15g of natural (no additives) atlantic-sea-salt from my healthfood
store with 12-13g of pure Vitamin C powder in one big glass of water. I finish
the glass through the day by drinking little amounts appr. every hour or so.
any comments please... "For the first day or two
on the S-C I was not sure if I was still having that nasty cold I had just
overcome when I started with the protocol or if this was already reacting.. by
now the picture is pretty clear..the symptoms
were nightsweats, muscle-trembles, itching at the spot where the tick got me
(!), swollen eyes also dry and itching, aching joints, very low energy.
"movement-sensations" in muscle tissues, especially in my left leg,
where problems were generally high.. head aches, hurting lymph nodes all over,
two times I had the sensation of something stinging through my skin from the
inside out for like half a minute (!)... etc. "I was feeling sick again
but as an experienced herxer I was feeling save. I didn't have any symptom that
could have come from the S-C, like problems with digestion etc. it was all a
bunch of terrorized bugs goin' nuts all over and loosing it. That's my
conclusion, now, because I feel amazingly well and in peace, something very good
has happened, it reminds me a lot of how it was before I ever had lyme. "I might experience
"some more trouble" I guess, but somehow I wouldn't also be surprised
if this has knocked out huge amounts of bugs and there might be not many
left..I'm afraid. It seems much more
broad-band effective than what I've experienced with rifing so far, where we do
kill some of the bugs but obviously leave some too, or I wouldn't have reacted
like this.. "What I love so much about
the whole idea is, that no matter what bug it is or even if it's one that hasn't
got a name yet, it might just go to hell anyway. "how cool, Post of 2/6/05 "Hi Saltgang, "I'm amazed !! After
